Terms & Conditions for Shiraz Travel tours
Please consider the following terms and conditions of travel tours carefully. You need to understand and agree with them completely before proceeding with any booking through Shiraz Travel. These terms and conditions apply to all bookings regardless of whether they are made through our office, website, over the phone or by email.
If you do proceed with the booking it will be assumed that you have agreed with the terms and conditions.
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of GST. ‘Shiraz Travel’ day trip prices are per passenger (unless otherwise stated) and are valid up to end of each financial year, 30th June each year.
All bookings are made with Shiraz Travel Pty Ltd (ABN 81 9918 25274) who trade as Shiraz Travel.
3. Cancellation and change policy
A: Cancellation by the customer
In the event that a customer cancels their trip the following refund rules apply:
• Cancellation more than 10 working days before the date of the day trip: Your deposit will be returned to you less any costs we incur in sending the money back to you;
• Between 3 and 10 working days before the trip: 50% of the booking value will be returned;
• Less than 3 working days before the day of the trip: 0% of the booking value will be returned.
Changes to the date of your trip (only once per booking) can be made free of charge when made more than 10 working days before the date of the trip.
B: Cancellation by ‘Shiraz Travel Tours’
‘Shiraz Travel Tours’ reserve the right to cancel the trip at anytime. In the event that ‘Shiraz Travel Tours’ cancels the trip a full refund will be made to the customer.
4. Credit card charges
Shiraz Travel charges 1 Percent fees when paying by credit card. This fee is for bank charge only
A 50% deposit is due at the time of making your booking.
6. Final Payment
The balance of your booking i.e. full cost less the initial deposit, is due 10 working days before the date of your day trip. An email will be sent to your nominated email address when the balance is due requesting payment. The email will contain a link to a secure website where you can pay the balance. If you have not paid the full balance before the trip you will be denied entry onto the bus and you will forfeit any deposit paid.
7. Alcohol consumption
Under the Liquor Control Act 1988, it is an offence: to sell or supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years on licensed or regulated premises; or for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase, or attempt to purchase, liquor on licensed or regulated premises.
‘Shiraz Travel Tours’ takes under age drinking very seriously. All passengers must be able to provide identification to prove they are 18 and over before they can consume alcohol whilst on an ‘Shiraz Travel Tours’ day trip.
No alcohol is to be consumed on any of the ‘Shiraz Travel Tours’ vehicles.
You agree that ‘Shiraz Travel Tours’ are able to use images of you captured on the day trips for use on our website or in marketing material. If you do not want your image to be used you will need to notify ‘Shiraz Travel Tours’ in writing before the start of the trip.
The privacy of our customers and their personal information is extremely important to ‘Shiraz Travel’. We respect the right of our customers to access their personal information should they wish to do so.
Any information that we collect about our customers is kept strictly confidential. The info stored securely and is only accessible by authorised members of the Company.
The agents of ‘Shiraz Travel’ whose systems process our customer’s personal data are bound by terms in their contract. This is to ensure the personal information is protected at all times. ‘Shiraz Travel’ does not and will not sell customer’s personal information.
10. Security Policy
All transactions through shiraztravel.com.au are secured by using the latest 128-bit SSL encryption. SSL technology encodes information as it is being sent over the Internet, helping to ensure that the information transmitted remains confidential.
11. Departure points
The departure point of the day trip will be advised at the time of booking. ‘Shiraz Travel Tours’ reserve the right to change the departure point. If the departure point is changed the customer will be notified by email at least twenty four hours before the departure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
‘Shiraz Travel Tours’ accepts no responsibility or liability for damage, loss, injury or delays whilst on our day trips.
‘Shiraz Travel Tours’ are not responsible for the acts and omissions of third parties that customers may encounter whilst on our day trips.
You release ‘Shiraz Travel Tours’ and its officers, employees, agents and representatives from any liability and expressly waive any claims you may have against us arising out of or in connection with your participation in a trip.
Any condition or warranty which would otherwise be implied by law into these Booking Conditions (Implied Warranty) is excluded.
